Jay Rendahl

Jay is one of the founders of Viking Clinical Research, Ltd., and has been active in the medical and research communities for more than 25 years. He served honorably in the US Navy, both active and reserve, for 14 years in various medical and psychological capacities. He is a member of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from San Diego State University.
Dr. Alvarez
Principal Investigator
Dr. Alvarez has been our Principal Investigator since 2009. Dr. Pamela L. Alvarez completed her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences at the University of California, Irvine (UCI). She received the Excellence in Research Award for her work in Neurosciences as a Howard Hughes Research Fellow during her undergraduate years—the interest led to a Master of Science degree in Physiology and Biophysics at Georgetown University. Presented with the option of pursuing either a research career or a clinical pathway, she chose the latter so that the acquired knowledge could be readily applied to patients afflicted with neurologic conditions.
Jeremy Gomer MD, PhD Internal Medicine
Dr. Gomer completed his internal medicine residency training at the University of California, Riverside School of Medicine, medical school at the University of Central Florida, College of Medicine, and a doctoral degree in philosophy at the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Gomer specializes in adult primary care and is board-certified in Internal Medicine. He is also an adjunct professor at Loma Linda University and is the skilled nursing facility doctor for two medical groups in the area.
Rachelle Phillips
M.S., M.A. Director of Clinical Operations
Rachelle has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a Master’s Degree of Science in Psychology, and a Master of Arts in Education.
